About Me
I’m Meezer Girmay Denver-raised, East Coast-tested, and currently living the life in Los Angeles. I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Ethnic Studies, which means I love digging into the “why” behind the world’s biggest conversations. That curiosity took me all the way to Washington, D.C., where I interned with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, working for a U.S. Senator as legislative intern.
Back home, I put my passion to work as the Youth Program Director at the Tigrai Community of Colorado, creating spaces for young people to connect, grow, and lead. Now, I’m at USC earning my Master’s in Public Relations and Advertising, learning how to shape narratives that make an impact.
When I’m not learning how to strategize campaigns and manage PR crises, you’ll find me spending time with my family, organizing community events, or exploring new ideas. I love a good challenge, a great story, and any excuse to bring people together.
